Insulate and jacket new waste water pipe to provide freeze protection for waste water plant.
The piping was insulated with 2" thick polyisocyanurate and then .016 stucco embossed aluminum metal jacket was applied.
Removable blankets were installed on all unions, valves, pumps, strainers, and similar components requiring maintenance.
Tanks received 100 mils of thermal coating.
The project consisted of 5000 +/- feet of piping ranging from high in elevation to ground level with limited access.
A majority of the piping ran close in proximity to the next limiting work pace in and around the pipe as well as room for new insulation and jacket.
New insulation system had to allow room for heat tracing and access was needed for all unions, valves, pumps, strainers, and similar components requiring maintenance.
