Insulate and jacket a finger skid to control condensation for a local natural gas client.

The skid was insulated with 2" thick mineral wool then .016 stucco embossed aluminum metal jacket was applied.

The Challenges

Insulating and jacketing 1000' of 48" pipe with an additional 250' of 24" pipe per skid.

Four skids needed to be completed for a total of 5000' of pipe to be insulated.

All materials were custom made and fitted to the exact dimensions.

Work was performed during the winter months with difficult temperatures, high winds and snowy conditions.
